That seems yummy. Doesn't it ? Ever wondered what is it called in English ?

Oh well, Worry not. Golgappas, Pani Puri or Puchkas. All accepted. The beauty of English is its ability to absorb words from other languages and make them its own.

Oh well, Worry not. Golgappas, Pani Puri or Puchkas. All accepted. The beauty of English is its ability to absorb words from other languages and make them its own. This often happens with the names of food from other countries.Do you have a Hindi name for Pizza ? No . And, What’s the hindi name for Burger ? We don’t have any…
Similarly , A Golgappa is a Golgappa in ENGLISH too. Yes, It’s acceptable and absolutely fine to say it. Of course our pronunciation might differ from the native language but the word doesn’t. A few things remain native and their name remains localized. Water balls or crispy spheres with spicy water are just the description of these items in English and not their names.
